About Avenue of the Saints Animal Hospital
We are AAHA accredited practice located in Waverly, Iowa along the Cedar River. Dr. Frost-Strain started the practice over 25 years ago as a sole veterinarian. Over the years the practice has gone from a sole doctor practice to a 4-doctor practice. This growth has kept us busy and we are excited to add another doctor to our 4-doctor team! We welcome veterinarians of all experience levels, including recent graduates; as our doctors are enthusiastic to mentor. Dr. Frost-Strain is very excited about the opportunity to mentor veterinarians interested in soft tissue or orthopedic surgery.

Client Service Representative
Our Client Service Representative is expected to check-in/check-out clients, answer phones, review medical records, and communicate with doctors and staff. Excellent communication over the phone is vital for appointment reminders, follow-up calls, and with other professionals in general. Knowledge of our hospital’s policies and procedures is essential to your success. Understanding available routine health care and products offered are required to provide knowledgeable advice to our clients.
The veterinary technician is the primary support to the doctors and patients. As a Veterinary Technician, you must be able to pay attention to detail, respond quickly and calmly to crises, and maintain very high patient care standards. Must be able to communicate well with clients and team members, showing care and concern for their pets.
